Kawasaki ZX-10R '12 at Sepang International Circuit

Our friend Mohamad sent us this video of a trackday he did at the Sepang International circuit, on his Kawasaki ZX-10R  2012 model.  He has upgraded it with a few goodies:

 

Αkrapovic titanium exhaust and link pipe

Βmc race air filter

Dynojet power commander5

Dynojet ignition module

Dynojet quickshifter

Lightech rearsets (gp shift)

Galfer race pads

Hel steel braided brake lines

R&G racing protection products

Pirelli diablo supercorsa sc2 dot race tire front and rear

Afam 16/41 520 conversion sprocket  tsubaki gold chain (geared for Sepang's citcuit so im able to use 6th gear on the front straight)

 

His opinion on the track is that: it is very technical, with off/on camber corners that do not allow the rider to see the apex and  high speed corners (T3,T5,T6). It gets more difficult during the hot season as it requires more stamina from the riders. Also the race line is very critical and you cant afford to make  mistakes if you want to set a good time.

The overall experience of the day was good and he was pleased with his lap times.  Mistakes were made ofcourse, but this is to be expected on a challenging track, especially when you ride in the presence of pros.

 

Other bikes in the video are some more Kawasaki ZX-10R's a Honda CBR 1000RR and a BMW S1000RR.
